The Global SE Awards European Pre-Contest in Willich Selects Five Exceptional Engineers

 

Willich, 26 November 2025. Roland DG, a global leader in digital printing technologies, has successfully concluded its European pre-contest for the Global SE Awards, held on 25–26 November in Willich, Germany. The two-day competition brought together some of the most skilled Service Engineers (SEs) from across the EMEA region, each demonstrating remarkable technical expertise, precision, and commitment to maintaining the performance and reliability of Roland DG equipment.

A Celebration of Europe’s Best Service Engineers

The European pre-contest is a cornerstone of Roland DG’s Global SE Awards programme, providing a platform for Service Engineers to showcase their abilities through a series of demanding evaluations. Returning after seven years, the 2025 edition reaffirmed the essential role SEs play in supporting customers, ensuring machine uptime, and advancing standards across the digital printing industry.

Participants underwent multiple rounds of testing, including mechanical knowledge assessments, troubleshooting challenges, hands-on engineering tasks, and product mastery demonstrations. Beyond competition, the event fostered an environment of shared learning, collaboration, and professional pride.

Outstanding Performance from EMEA’s Top Talent

Following rigorous assessment, five engineers distinguished themselves as the top performers of the 2025 European pre-contest. Their exceptional technical ability, analytical skills, and dedication to service excellence earned them top ranking among a highly competitive field.
