Exploring emerging trends

At 14.00 BST on Tuesday 13th October, 2020, Paul Willems, head of product management and business development at Roland DG EMEA, will participate in a panel discussion entitled ‘Printed Interior Decor: An Untapped Opportunity’.  He will explain that the category’s explosive growth, strong margins and comparative resilience to COVID-19 make it an attractive diversification opportunity for printers.

In his session on Wednesday 14th October, 2020 at 14.30 BST entitled ‘Fashion and Garment Textile: Is It Time To Bring It Home?’, Joe Wigzell, Academy Manager, Roland DG EMEA, will address the need to pivot from offshore to nearshore and homeshore textile production, and the impact this change will have on the industry, its efficiency, and its long-term future.

Stephen Davis, EMEA Marketing Director at Roland DG comments: “In the last 12 to 18 months, we’ve invested heavily in creating innovative products that answer specific unmet needs from printers operating in the interior design and textile sectors. We’re looking forward to using our platform at FuturePrint Virtual Summit to provide insights and guidance on how these two categories are developing, as well as spotlighting the EJ-640 DECO and XT-640S-DTG that debuted earlier this year.”
