EMEA Pre-Sales Consultant - New Business

Main responsibilities

• Support the Business Development activities of Roland DG EMEA by
- Identifying & developing solutions to customer pain points
- Crafting a unique Roland DG selling proposition

• Help the Market & Business Development teams find, win, and renew customers by
- Providing best in class Application support
- Create inspiring samples for bespoke applications

• Go-to person for new application and solution design & qualification
- Participate in promotional events (national and international) to demonstrate and promote our products (e.g., open houses, fairs)
- To support the European Product Management team and participate in product launch and training events


• Experience in technical domains in the large-format printing industry
• Self-starting and experienced in working in international pre-sales environments
• Comfortable in making customer facing presentations


• Master thorough knowledge of (Roland’s) existing and new Digital Printing technology portfolio (hardware, software, inks) - Recognized as a passionate professional and technical expert
• Knowledgeable about commercial matters and the products, focusing on markets and new business opportunities and activities, that will bring the largest return
• Excellent communication skills - written and oral communication in English + preferably verbal skill 1 other European language (Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish)
• Good listener and able to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel


This function will be in our office in Germany, Spain or Belgium. We are looking for a creative entrepreneur with « can do » attitude and willingness to travel internationally (estimated 30%)
