Roland DG - Farum Office in Denmark – Hybrid
As Service Engineer Nordics, you will be an integral part of the EMEA Service Team. Your role is to provide high-quality support and technical service of Roland DG Print machines primarily in the Nordic countries.
We are looking for a talented, service-minded, passionate service engineer with a “can do” attitude and willingness to continuously learn and develop in response to changing needs.
Main responsibilities
- Provide excellent technical service to dealers and their end-customers primarily in the Nordics
- Install machines onsite and at shows and exhibitions
- Coordinate access to all Roland DG systems/portals for dealer service engineers
- Provide external and internal user training
- Administrative processing of service order reports and handling of warranties in collaboration with HQ
- Execute rework, repairs or adjustment work (modification/adaptation) for devices in the Farum warehouse and showroom
- Implementation of new systems, procedures and tools into the support function
- Responsible for continuously increasing your technical knowledge and transferring this into the technical training of partner service engineers and colleagues
- Actively use Roland Community Pages to contribute to global sharing of technical expertise
- Ad hoc support of service engineer colleagues in EMEA
Experience
- Experience from digital print technical domain
- Accustomed to working in international service environment
- Comfortable making customer facing service training and support
Skills
- Knowledge of existing and new Digital Printing technology portfolio (hardware, software, inks)
- Self-starter, well- organized and able to manage multiple deadlines
- High computer literacy comfortable working with administrative systems and processes
- Can communicate effortlessly in the Nordic languages and English
- Able to convey technical information to non-technical personnel
- Strong people skills; good at building relationships within and outside the organization
- Personal passion for technical development in print industry
Location
This role will be located in our Danish office in Farum.
As there will be quite some onsite support, travel days are estimated to be 40% of your time and will primarily be in the Nordic countries.
