    Removable base for larger objects

    MPX-95 users are not limited to small tool marking. The base plate and base unit can be removed to enable imprinting onto much larger medical tools, devices and industrial equipment.

    Laser pointer for fast set-up and precise positioning

    An integrated laser pointer accurately defines the origin point on equipment before imprinting so users can quickly and easily set the print position for accurate marking every time.

    Included METAZAStudio software

    MetazaStudio software allows users to apply sequential data to each item in a series, add text, import variable data and automatically generate 2D symbols for an effortlessly easy solution.

    *The GS1 DataMatrix is a standard for 2D symbols determined by the GS1 international body for barcodes, symbols and electronic data transfer. It provides electronics manufacturers and medical facilities worldwide a standardised method to display symbols on instruments. Information on item code, usage limits, lot number, serial number and more can be stored within 26 bytes and read using a special scanner.

    The MPX-95 direct part marking solution for medical instruments includes:


    DPM Vice 
    A movable and fully-adjustable vice with multiple tool-holding options can be quickly set up to hold intricately shaped medical instruments such as scissors, scalpels, tweezers, forceps, tools and other items. Ideal for marking different items with contrasting dimensions in succession.

    Centre Vice with Clamp Pins 
    Uniquely position different-sized clamp pins to hold irregular-shaped and cylindrical items for repeat, precise personalisation of equipment with the same dimensions.

    Head Caps
    30 rounded and 10 flat head caps are included for use on flat and curved surfaces.

Conditions when imprinting curved surfaces

Choose material when imprinting on a curved surface taking into consideration the following limitations. These figures show the imprinting area possible for a curved surface and the area that the marking pin can reach with respect to the diameter of the cylinder when the head cap (CAP-HEAD MPX-90) is attached to the head unit. However, these limitations do not assure the quality of the photographic image.
